Accessibility Statement

Last updated: May 25, 2026

All American Community Health Center is committed to providing a website and a clinic environment that are accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. Accessible care is part of good care.

Our Commitment

We strive to conform our website at https://allamericanchc.org to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities. We design the website to be usable with assistive technologies — including screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice-recognition software, and keyboard-only navigation — and we test ongoing changes against these standards.

What We Do

  • Provide meaningful text alternatives for non-decorative images.
  • Use color contrast that meets WCAG AA where practical.
  • Label form fields, buttons, and interactive controls so they are usable with assistive technology.
  • Structure pages with semantic headings and landmarks so they are navigable by screen reader.
  • Allow content to be resized up to 200% without loss of functionality.
  • Avoid auto-playing audio or video and avoid motion that cannot be paused.
  • Build the site to be operable with a keyboard alone.

In-Clinic Accessibility

  • Our clinic entrance and exam rooms are designed to be wheelchair-accessible.
  • Free on-site parking includes accessible spaces near the entrance.
  • We provide free language assistance, including qualified interpreters and translated materials, on request — please tell us when you book.
  • We provide free auxiliary aids and services for individuals with disabilities to communicate effectively with us, including qualified sign language interpreters and written information in alternate formats such as large print, accessible electronic formats, and audio.

Known Limitations

We are an actively maintained website. Some content — particularly older PDF documents and third-party embeds — may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. We are working to remediate these items over time. If you encounter a barrier, please tell us; in the meantime, we will provide the information you need in an alternative accessible format.

Feedback, Accommodations, and Complaints

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our website and our clinic services. If you have difficulty using any part of the Site, if you need an accommodation to access care at our clinic, or if you believe you have been denied equal access on the basis of disability, please contact us. We will respond as promptly as possible and aim to provide an initial substantive response within 10 business days.

You also have the right to file a discrimination complaint with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights, electronically through the Office for Civil Rights Complaint Portal at ocrportal.hhs.gov/ocr/portal/lobby.jsf, or by mail or phone at: U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, 200 Independence Avenue SW, Room 509F, HHH Building, Washington, D.C. 20201; 1-800-368-1019 (1-800-537-7697 TDD).
